Tigers Beat Boyet 12-9 in Overtime
Your Fighting Tiger football team came away with a thrilling 12-9 overtime victory over our rival, the Boyet Rebels last night.
The Tigers scored first when Tre’ Dolan went up the middle for a 25 yard TD run.
With the score tied at 6 in Overtime, Boyet kicked a 24 yard field goal to go up 9-6.
The Tigers responded with a 10 yard TD run on their first play when Vernel Turner ran around the end following Kevin Dufrauchard’s block to the house.
Tre’ Dolan led the Tiger defense with 10 tackles.
Maison Martin had 8 tackles and a fumble recovery.
Tyler Russel also had a fumble recovery.
Matt Thomas had a diving interception.
The Tigers will play their home opener Tuesday when the Fontainebleau Hurricanes came to Tiger Town.
The game will be at Slidell High School. Kickoff at 6:30.
